Ship that caught fire now sinks with 4,000 luxury cars


The freighter Felicity Ace, carrying more than 3,000 luxury cars, including Porsche, Lamborghini, Audi and Bentley, has sunk, the Portuguese Navy said on Wednesday. The freighter was approaching the Azores region when it caught fire on 16 February.

 The ship's 22 crew were rescued safely, but not in luxury. According to the Portuguese navy, there is some wreckage and a small oil slick at the site, but there are fears that it will spread. But a company spokesman did not confirm the number of branded cars on board. Base prices for vehicle models start at $99,600.
